School will reopen to ALL pupils tomorrow, 19/7/23
KS1 celebration assembly and Y6 leavers will go ahead as planned.
See you then 😊

The countdown is on… Only 2 days until the launch of the St Oswald’s Shaun the Sheep on the Tyne art trail! The fabulousflock of 115 big and little sheep will take to the streets of the NorthEast for ten weeks ofcelebration in support of St Oswald’sHospice.
The trail map and app will launch very soon, so watch this space if you’re hoping to find them all – including our very own sculpture, lovingly named “Olor” by the children (“Olor” is the Latin word for Swan).
Unfortunately we currently have a burst water main which is affecting the school. We have assessed the situation and school will be closed. Please keep checking in on dojo for further updates.
Thank you
We had a fantastic fun day. We explored the ‘fun bus’. Then we danced and played games with ‘startastic’ characters, had ice cream and mastered the assault course!
Hebburn Lakes Remains a ‘Good School’
I am pleased to say, that today we have recieved our recent inspection report, which will be coming home with your child tonight.
If at the start of the inspection, I had been asked to describe our school in a few words, It would have looked very similar to that of the opening line.
“Hebburn Lakes is a welcoming, inclusive school where pupils thrive”
The report will also be published on the school website and Ofsted’s own page in the coming days.
Thank you all for your support in ensuring we can Work, Learn and Achieve Together while ‘aiming to be the best we can be’.
