In our Learning Means The World theme, ‘Light Up The World’ we have been looking at the sun and creating leaflets and posters of the rules we need to follow in order to be safe when we are out in the sun. We have found out that suncream, glasses, hat and t-shirts are very important. We then designed our own split pin lever card to show the sun and how we keep ourselves safe

We took part in our sponsored circuit morning with our special visitor Paralympian Lucy Turner. We did spotty dogs, mountain climbers, press ups and star jumps. We completed our circuits in approximately 7 minutes and we were brilliant. We have collected lots of money to go towards buying new sports equipment for our school. We are so proud of ourselves!
Reverand Ian joined us today to talk to us about helping others and that Jesus taught us to help others before we help ourselves. We discussed how even using our words in a positive way can be helpful.
