As part of our Learning Means the World Theme ‘Help is At Hand’, we have been looking at the Emergency Services and the important jobs that they do to help us. We have been very fortunate to have 2 parents come into school this week and talk about their job within the emergency services. Oliver’s dad works for the Royal Air Force (RAF) and Sterling’s mum works in Accident and Emergency in a hospital. They both support the Police, Ambulance and Fire Services in their roles. The children asked lots of questions about their jobs and found out some wonderful information. They even got a chance to role play with some of the things that were brought in.
