Welcome

I am delighted to welcome you to our school. There is something very special about Hebburn Lakes and we are incredibly proud of our unique children, inspirational staff and supportive parents and governors. Together we work hard to make Hebburn Lakes a safe, happy and fun place to learn.

We foster an environment where children show respect and kindness to one another and the world around and believe strongly that our children deserve the best possible chances in life and that they learn best when there are strong links between home and school.

Young Sports Leaders

Last week our Year Five and Six Young Sports Leaders attended a catch up event at Marine Park. This involved the boys completing an orienteering course around the park, using their skills to find clues. They gave an amazing performance showing maturity and resilience ...throughout the day. Well done to our Sports Leaders!

Animal Antics in 2 Red!

We had fun in Learning Means the World today playing 'Animal Guess Who'. We used our knowledge of mammals, reptiles, birds, fish and amphibians to ask yes or no questions to our partner to try and guess the creature on their cards. Miss Clark even popped ...in for a game!

Year 5 trip to the Hancock Museum

What an amazing day we had on Monday! As part of our themes ‘You’re not Invited and Pharaoh Queen’ we went to visit the Hancock Museum in Newcastle. It was so good to see so many of the places and objects that we had been learning about in both ...themes and even saw two real life Mummies! It really helped to bring the past to life and I know that the children already cant wait to go again.
