Year 5 – Sikh Wedding Celebration!
This week Year 5 have been looking at Sikhism in R.E. We decided to have our very own Sikh wedding, which the children planned and delivered themselves. Each team had a project, we had: invitations, menus, decorations, looking after the bride and ...groom's families, costumes and the ceremony committee. Every group had a specific job and worked amazingly well as a team to make sure the wedding went off without a hitch! To celebrate, we had a party afterwards and celebrated the wedding in true Sikh fashion, with lots of music, dancing and laughter.
