The Smartest Giant In Town!
In English 1 Red have begun a new text 'The Smartest Giant in Town'. The children had to look at the props provided before guessing who they belonged to and what the story may be about. They then wrote lists of what they could see before sharing ...their findings with each other. After listening to the story the children used associated vocabulary to describe the different characters that were met in the story. Some children even wrote some wonderful character descriptions of their own to describe the giant and illustrated them beautifully.
