In RE year one have focusing on the Easter story and the true meaning behind Easter. We looked at Palm Sunday and sequenced the story, made posters about Maundy Thursday and the Last Supper, then we made Easter cards using a stained glass window effect with a cross to symbolise Jesus being ...crucified on the cross on Good Friday. The children were truly fascinated about the story and learning about new life and the resurrection, and how it linked to getting chocolate eggs from the Easter Bunny.
